I started doing wildlife paintings in the early 80's, and for almost 15 years went to numerous art shows. I then got out of painting for awhile due to changes in my life. In 2001 I got back into wildlife paintings, and also started chainsaw carving.
I enjoy both, but, just can't seem to find enough time in my schedule to do either as much as I would like to. I had been selling on Ebay (chainsaw_carver) since starting back up in 2001, but with their ever increasing fees, then I was forced to pass them on to the customers. So I'm trying my own website for awhile.

Searching for the pieces to do my paintings on gives me a good excuse to go to flea markets and yard sales, which I really enjoy. Every painting is a little different, and I can not always be guarenteed at what treasures I might find to paint on at a reasonable price. So many times I cannot attempt to duplicate an item for the same cost, and I apologize for that. It's just the way it works out when your painting on vintage and unique items. Most of the time I know what I'm painting on, but there have been serveral occassions when I don't know what type of item it is, so if there's ever something that I don't know what it is and you do, please feel free to email me.
