Vintage Kraut Slaw Cutter Whitetail Deer Painting

This vintage wooden kraut cutter has a beautiful patina to it. That is why I left the background unpainted when painting this large antlered whitetail buck, standing in the frosty morning weeds. The cutter has been painted in oils, and has a matt finish where the painting is, the rest has been oiled with an antique oil. There is a triangle split in the bottom left corner, and the top right corner. They are almost identical, but I don't know why they are there. Stamped in the top of this kraut
