Huge Beef Splitter 33" long I picked this beef splitter up at an Antique Flea Market in Springfield, Oh, and then added the oil painting of an antlered whitetail buck and doe standing in the edge of the stream as the old barn and hay wagon loom in the distance.

I picked this beef splitter up at an Antique Flea Market in Springfield, Oh, and then added the oil painting of an antlered whitetail buck and doe standing in the edge of the stream as the old barn and hay wagon loom in the distance. When I purchased the splitter it already had the rope on it for a handle, so I have left it on. I do not see any markings on the cleaver, but it does look like it has been repaired where the handle meets the blade. The previous dealer had sanded the beef splitter down when I purchased it. The top is not mushroomed at all, so it does not appear to have been used that often. This beef splitter is heavy, weighing over 8lbs. before packaging. Sure glad that I don't have to actually use it.
