A sleeping mountain man is just cutting ZZZZZ's as his little sleeping fox pal rests curled on top of his head in the den on the howling wolf. Hand carved out of a small piece of driftwood, and sealed with a satin varnish and then hand-rubbed paste wax finish. This is my first piece of driftwood. It is signed and dated. My husband and I picked it up about 5 years ago when on a trip to Erie, Pa. Guess I was planning ahead. This little carving at the widest dimensions is 8-1/4 x 3". The mountain man and fox are carved at 4-1/4 x 1".
