Vintage Enamel Wash Bowl Raccoon Marshmellow Hot Chocolate

This vintage enamel red trimmed wash bowl has become the canvas for this raccoon painting.

Truely a unique piece, this vintage enamel wash bowl has taken on a new life as a canvas for this raccoon painting. The weather is getting cooler outside, the owner of this enamel coffee cup has filled it with hot chocolate that is to warm to drink. They sat it down on the old log and decide to take a short walk into the woods to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Unbeknownous to them this raccoon has raided his stash of marshmellows and has decided that it's not really hot chocolate, unless there is a marshmellow. This vintage white enamel with red trim wash pan already had the hole in the top to form the hanger. This painting is painted in oils on the bottom of the bowl. It has been sealed with a couple of coats of satin varnish for protection. Please do not "scrub", it can be wiped off with mild soap and water or windex, just nothing abrasive please. I purchased this at an antique shop, and then added the painting. The bowl is 13-1/4" in diameter, 3-1/2" deep with the painted area 6-1/2" in diameter.

PLEASE NOTE, THAT MANY OF THE OTHER ITEMS I PAINT ON ARE YARD SALE AND FLEA MARKET FINDS THAT I ADD OIL PAINTINGS TO. I WILL DO MY BEST TO MENTION AN MAJOR FLAWS IN THE ITEM, BUT MOST ITEMS ARE USED ITEMS.
