This old wooden handle coal shovel has become the home of this oil painting of a raccoon going to the water under the snowy moonlite night. This shovel has a couple of markings on the metal that goes up the handle, a 2 and an E that is all I see.
This shovel would look great in a log home, or in that rustic den, next to a fireplace, the possibilities are endless. It's definitely a winter scene, but remove the glitter spray and it's good for more than just the holidays. The inside of the shovel was cleaned and sprayed with a flat black rustoleum, then the oil painting added and sealed with a matte spray varnish for protection. The back was cleaned, but not painted, and the old wooden handle has had several coats of tung oil rubbed in.
Change the spray, or add a bow or a string of mini lights, the possibilities are endless.
Approximate shipping weight will be 8 lbs. This item may or may not be able to have combined shipping, due to the size and having a carton made to ship it in.
